About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer to lead initiatives in building resilient, cost-optimized infrastructure automation systems. You’ll work closely with platform engineers and DevOps teams to develop backend services that support scalable, self-healing Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of backend systems, driving Kubernetes cluster automation.
Optimize infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cloud cost.
Build integrations with AWS APIs and contribute to internal frameworks for autoscaling and resource management.
Guide architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with SREs and product managers to shape feature development.
Requirements:
6–9 years of backend development experience, preferably in cloud-native or DevOps domains.
Strong programming skills in Java or Golang.
In-depth understanding of Kubernetes internals and orchestration patterns.
Skilled in designing scalable APIs and distributed systems.
Proficient with Linux, Git, CI/CD workflows.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Kubernetes autoscalers (e.g., Karpenter, Cluster Autoscaler).
Familiarity with multi-cloud infrastructure or hybrid cloud design.
Monitoring expertise (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
