Own and improve high-scale backend systems and TB-scale data pipelines. Ensure microservice availability, performance, resilience, and reliability. Build deployment, monitoring, and incident-response automation while contributing scalable backend features. Take end-to-end ownership of production systems, debug complex issues, and collaborate with founders and global teams in a high-ambiguity startup environment.

What You’ll Work On
- High-scale distributed systems handling large data volumes (TB-scale pipelines)
- Reliability and uptime across microservices-based architectures
- Performance optimization and system resilience under real-world load
- Backend systems that directly impact user experience and product growth
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve large-scale data pipelines and backend systems
- Ensure high availability and performance across multiple microservices
- Build tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response
- Take ownership of production systems, not just development tasks
- Work closely with founders / global teams to solve critical engineering problems
- Contribute to backend features with a strong focus on scalability and reliability
Requirements
Required Experience
- 8+ years in software engineering
- 5+ years in backend engineering or SRE roles
- Strong experience in distributed systems and microservices
- Proficiency in at least two:
- C# (.NET Core)
- Python
- Node.js with TypeScript
- Experience with AWS (Kinesis, DynamoDB preferred)
- Strong debugging and system-level thinking
