About your Team
Growth Marketing at Teachable focuses on bringing more creators to our platform by optimizing each step of the growth funnel. We work closely with Product, Partnerships and Brand & Content, in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. We embrace testing new hypotheses, fail fast and quickly apply those learnings through a very data-driven approach. We're always adapting as both our company and industry continue to evolve, while keeping the ultimate goal of connecting with and supporting creators.
What is the role?
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Business Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for translating complex marketing and business data into actionable insights that drive our growth strategy. You will leverage your structured problem-solving approach and analytical mindset to partner within the Growth, Brand, Partnerships, Product, Data and Finance teams to develop and implement measurement frameworks, analyze performance. You will identify strategic opportunities for optimization which you're likely to lead or advise all the way through implementation.
This position reports to the Marketing Analytics Lead and plays a crucial role in fostering a data-driven decision-making culture throughout the organization.
This position is hybrid to our São Paulo office. Although flexible, local employees tend to use our São Paulo office 1-2 times a week.
Additionally, this position will collaborate with American employees on a daily basis, so fluency in English is required.
In this role you'll:
  • Build and maintain impactful marketing dashboards using Sigma, Google Analytics, Heap, and Looker that drive business decisions
  • Analyze marketing campaigns across channels to optimize performance and allocation of resources
  • Define and track key metrics (LTV, CAC, Churn, Retention, Conversion Rates) to evaluate business health
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to optimize conversion funnels and marketing effectiveness
  • Own weekly reporting processes to deliver insights to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Help develop and improve attribution models to better understand marketing ROI and customer journeys
  • Apply structured problem-solving to complex challenges and develop data-driven solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities through trend analysis and funnel optimization
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure quality data collection and integration
  • Translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations with implementation roadmaps

What you'll bring:
  • 2-3 years in business analysis in strategic consulting roles or 3 + years of experience within data analytics and/or data science.
  • Previous Marketing Analytics experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of key business metrics: LTV, CAC, Churn, Retention, and Conversion Funnel metrics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics, attribution models, and customer acquisition economics
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments with statistical rigor
  • Ability to structure complex problems and drive data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data findings for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data modeling and analysis
  • SQL proficiency and experience with BI tools like Sigma and Power BI
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Heap, or similar web analytics platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or related fields

Nice to have:
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Understanding (and willing to learn!) on how to leverage AI implementation in analytics and operations workflows
  • Interest in the creator economy landscape and digital education platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Background in SaaS or subscription-based business models
