DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Excel Developer and Data Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining Excel-based tools and applications that support our business processes and data analysis needs. This role requires proficiency in VBA programming, system integration, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excel Development:
- Design and implement complex Excel formulas, macros, and VBA scripts.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based tools and applications to support various business processes.
- Utilize VBA programming to automate tasks, enhance functionality, and improve efficiency.
- Create complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Data Integration:
- Integrate Excel tools with other systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data connections using APIs, ODBC, and other integration methods.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple platforms.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects related to Excel tool development and data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions on time.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of Excel tools and applications.
- Business Analysis:
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through Excel-based solutions.
- Develop and implement data analysis models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Generate and present reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Optimization and Troubleshooting:
- Optimize workbook performance and ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Excel application bugs.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Excel development, including advanced VBA programming.
- Proven experience in system integration and data management.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and charting.
- Expertise in VBA programming for automation and custom functionality.
- Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., APIs, ODBC).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Microsoft Excel or related technologies.
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Good understanding of finance fundamentals
