Job Description:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement Enterprise grade web applications and REST API services in large Public Clouds or on premise setups. The major technology stack includes .NET and C#, the Azure services, RDBMS, and advanced knowledge on CI/CD (TeamCity/Jenkins). Engineering a solution that can withstand failure and scaling challenges is paramount to our success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyses requirements and writes software requirement and design specifications for the organization’s complex projects.
- Analyses, evaluates, and plans methods of approach to solve problems central to an assigned research or programming project.
- Acts as engineering tools expert and can propose new ones.
- Prepares and gives formal presentations/reviews in areas of specialization to management and customers.
- Coordinates the technical design activity with others in department to ensure consistent and integrated approaches across projects.
- Provides input to and generates documentation for new or existing projects as well as reusable code.
- Works on issues that impact design success of address future concepts, products and technologies. Identifies technical opportunities and recommends programs to management in such areas as product development, reliability, and performance improvements.
- Partners with management and engineers in early stages of multiple project definitions and roadmap.
- Overall technical expert that trains and mentors others.
- Innovates, and coaches others to design and implement forward looking solutions.
- Exercise wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Required Experience/Skills:
- BE / BTech / MTech in Computer Science or related engineering fields.
- You have at least 4-7 years of software development experience with one or more Object Oriented languages, preferably in .NET, C#
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, SOLID principles, complexity analysis, software design and debugging.
- You have hands on experience building Cloud services and distributed systems – design, develop, deployment, monitoring, scaling, debugging.
- Ability to build highly Secure & resilient, Enterprise-grade, RESTful APIs.
- Hands on knowledge on CI/CD tools/technologies like - Team City, Jenkins
- You have worked to provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure, and optimize Cloud services.
- Must be proactive systematic problem-solver, analytical, data driven showcasing end to end accountability and communication.
- Should have exposure to systems or applications at scale
