Job Title – Senior Cloud Engineer

As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of multi cloud-based API Platform that drive our organization's technological and digital advancement. Your Proficiency will be pivotal in implementing scalable, secure, and efficient API Platform, ensuring seamless experience to our users and customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and optimize cloud strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Your role will also involve mentoring and guiding junior engineers, promoting best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
Cloud Proficiency: Proficient in AWS and its various services such as EKS, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Route 53, Lambda, etc.
Kubernetes Proficiency: Experienced in designing scalable and robust systems on Kubernetes, preferably EKS.
Programming Skills: Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Go.
DevOps Knowledge: Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and other DevOps practices.
Solution Development: Capable of independently building solutions and taking them to production with minimal guidance.
API Development: Knowledgeable in API development, lifecycle management, and gateways like APIGEE or Envoy.
REST API Creation: Skilled in building secure REST APIs from scratch, using industry best practices like OpenID, OAuth2.0, SSL, etc.
Debugging Skills: Strong at identifying and resolving issues in both code and infrastructure.
System Design: Proficient in designing Tier 0 systems and platforms, participating in system architecture.
OpenSource Understanding: Good grasp of the open-source ecosystem.
Team Collaboration: A good team player with the ability to work across functional teams.
