Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, automation, and container orchestration, with a strong preference for experience in Red Hat OpenShift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and ensure best practices in architecture and security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Deployment Manager.
- Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect,
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
