This is an exciting, permanent full-time position for an energetic and efficient Senior Consultant-carbon Capture. To work at Ramboll means being part of a people organisation. About The Role
Your key tasks and responsibilities could include:
- Managing technical aspects of Carbon Capture projects, being heavily involved in the entire lifecycle including pre-feasibility, feasibility, pre-FEED, FEED, outline design, technical specifications for tender documents and evaluation of suppliers’ technical proposals & designs.
- Leading technical appraisals and due diligence efforts for CCUS installations.
- Basic plant engineering of CC projects, preparation of Heat and Mass balance to identify and discuss process design options at conceptual level to identify the solutions that best suit the clients’ priorities and future developments.
- Conducting condition assessment of existing plants and discuss optimization possibilities.
- Engaging in development activities within the competency area of Carbon Capture and Energy from Waste
- Coordinating or participating in site visits, technical & project review meetings working with stakeholders in multiple time zones across various continents.
Qualifications
About you
The following experience is highly desirable in this role:
- Bachelor/ Master of degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from recognized university or higher within a relevant scientific/technical/engineering field;
- 10-15 years of experience on with project development experience, ideally in Carbon Capture, Energy from Waste and/or O&G background with transferable skills.
- Competent to resolve and own the technical issues either by self or by liaising with various stakeholders.
- Project management experience from a similar role;
- Experience in a consulting role, conducting feasibility studies and due diligence, would be advantageous.
- Experience in understanding commercial aspects of CCUS would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
- Intercultural competence and international experience;
- Strong communication skills both oral and written and an ability to communicate effectively with various level of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners;
- Customer-oriented and are characterized by a self-reliant, reliable and structured way of working;
- Should be willing to travel as per project requirements.
