The Senior Content Creator produces engaging content for training and marketing, collaborating with teams to enhance clarity and usability of software products.
The Senior Content Creator is a key member of the Product Operations team, responsible for producing engaging, high-impact content that helps internal and external audiences understand Lightcast’s software platforms and labor market data.
This role sits at the intersection of Training, Documentation, Implementation, and Product Marketing. You’ll translate complex concepts into intuitive, visually engaging, and easy-to-follow content formats such as how-to guides, product videos, explainers, walkthroughs, onboarding materials, and internal enablement assets. You’ll work closely with global stakeholders and contribute to building a scalable, consistent content ecosystem that supports product education and adoption.
We’re looking for someone who brings both creative design sensibility and technical clarity, with a strong attention to detail and a drive to make our products and data easier to use, learn, and love.
Major Responsibilities:
- Create content assets that bring clarity to complex products and data, including: Product walkthrough videos, Onboarding guides and help center articles, Internal enablement decks and feature explainers, Visual diagrams and user flows
- Microcontent for LMS, chatbots, and documentation
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Product, Training, Documentation, Implementation, and Product Marketing, to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with product launches and customer journeys.
- Translate technical or abstract ideas into intuitive, user-friendly content, tailored to different audiences including business users, developers, analysts, and customer-facing teams.
- Develop and maintain templates, brand-aligned visuals, and tone-of-voice standards to improve content consistency and production efficiency.
- Use tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar to produce clean, professional, and on-brand content assets.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in content governance, feedback collection, and performance tracking to ensure content is discoverable, effective, and continuously refined.
- Work with global teams across time zones, maintaining responsiveness, ownership, and flexibility in a distributed environment.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, instructional design, technical writing, or product marketing support.
- Strong background working with software or data-driven products, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Proficient with tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Descript, or Camtasia.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Design, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
