Cyber Security

As a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst you will protect Clarivate’s hardware, software, and networks from theft, loss, or unauthorized access. Ensure the monitoring and analysis of events to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation.

We are looking for a SOC Analyst to join our Information Security Team in Bangalore, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on information security related challenges and to protect the Clarivate environment from unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. You will ensure the monitoring and analysis of events to protect People, Technology and Process addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • At least 2 years of experience in the security space and/or working in a SOC environment, preferably in cloud-based product development organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Relevant security certification (GIAC, ISC2, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and promote ideas at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong self-directed work habits exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance, professionalism, and the ability to autonomously manage multiple workstreams.

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Monitor and operate the SOC tools and resources.
  • Analyze internal events and investigations escalated by the managed SOC.
  • Contribute to regular training sessions to facilitate knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Contribute to the incident response efforts.
  • Participate in internal Red/Blue Team activities.
  • Discover and eliminate redundancies in the security incident response process.
  • Create new and update existing runbooks.
  • Implement and test information security controls in enterprise, cloud, and product environments.
  • Stay up to date on current and emerging security threats and effectively operate security tools to mitigate threats where possible.
