As our new Senior Data Analyst, you will play a central role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation by transforming complex business and client data into clear, actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across Business Units, BI teams, and leadership, contributing to strategic initiatives, commercial, and operational excellence efforts, as well as client programmes. The role offers a broad and varied project portfolio, ranging from dashboard development and CRM reporting to deep‑dive strategic commercial and operational analyses. You will be part of a collaborative, cross‑functional environment where accuracy, structure, and analytical quality are highly valued. The position combines recurring analytical responsibilities with ad‑hoc strategic work, offering both stability and intellectual variety. You will join a team that values strong stakeholder collaboration and is focused on continuously improving the reliability, adoption, and impact of data and insights across the business. . You will be part of our Business Excellence department, which brings together Operational Excellence, Health & Safety, and Clients & Sales to strengthen performance and decision‑making across the organisation. In Business Excellence, we support the business with analytics, insights, and frameworks that improve commercial outcomes, operational reliability, and strategic focus. The department works closely with Business Units, BI teams, and leadership to translate complex data into actionable insights that create value for both clients and the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Turning complex business data into actionable insights by collecting, validating, analysing, and presenting data that supports strategic initiatives, commercial- and operational excellence
- Coordinating project portfolio review meetings and reporting on Ramboll’s client facing projects
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, including Business Units, Key Account Management teams and BI teams to ensure insights are relevant, trusted, and decision ready.
- Maintaining, testing and improving dashboards and reports in Power BI and CRM to strengthen transparency, data quality and adoption of analytical tools across the business.
- Delivering strategic and ad hoc commercial analysis on, for example, pipeline development, client performance, revenue composition and market trends
- Responsible for tracking, reporting on and following up on compliance with owned processes and systems
- Strengthen data governance and consistency by working with BI teams to align definitions, validate logic and improve reliability of key commercial and performance metrics
- Relevant educational background or equivalent work experience in business analytics, data analytics, finance, commercial excellence, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven ability to structure, validate and interpret complex datasets from multiple sources
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with data modelling and analytical reporting. Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present analytical findings clearly and effectively to different audiences
- Strong understanding of financial concepts
