Position:

• Data Engineer, SG 26
• Work timing/hours - US CST (3-4 hours overlap)
• Work timing/hours US CST during training

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use RPA tools to develop, test, implement, and maintain web scraping bots
• Crawl/query the payer policy page/site to identify links to content in scope
• Extract, transform, and parse data from webpages, PDFs, spreadsheets, and word documents into standardized format and file type
• Deliver output to SQL DB, and AWS S3
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field
• 5+ years in ETL and Data Warehousing within Cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
• Knowledgeable of HTML and XML data's structure, type, attributes, relationships between parts, display, and meaning
• Proficient in writing Xpaths and regex queries
• Proficient in using C# or Python for data extraction and transformation
• Technical Skills:
  • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server
  • Programming & Scripting: SQL, Python, Scala
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS
  • Big Data Technologies: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive
  • Documentation: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Knowledge of Insurance claims data (U.S. Healthcare Insurance Payer)
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving abilities; aptitude for learning new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced SQL skills for querying and optimizing large datasets
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems and standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Understanding of clinical processes and terminology
• Familiarity with SAS programming
