About the role:
As a Senior Data Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytics to optimize our collections processes and improve commercial outcomes. Reporting to the Credit & Affordability team, you will be responsible for designing, tracking, and monitoring key performance metrics while identifying root causes and opportunities for process improvements.
You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that influence strategic decisions and enhance our debt recovery capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your data expertise to drive real business impact in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
What you will be doing:
- Elevate the use of analytics to enhance and optimize collections processes, driving measurable improvements in debt coverage and recovery outcomes.
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to improve targeting strategies and commercial performance.
- Manage the data governance framework, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best practices in all reporting and analytical processes.
- Create, manage, and support ETL processes and data pipelines to generate repeatable insights and monitor the effectiveness of collections initiatives.
- Provide technical support, automate data processes, and optimize data extraction, transformation, and delivery to streamline analytics workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver effective analytics, including ad-hoc analysis, business case modeling, and root cause identification.
What we would like to see you bring:
- Strong skills in data extraction and transformation from SQL-based databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, SAP HANA) and expertise in data/analytics tools like Python or R Studio.
- Advanced knowledge of visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or equivalent, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and how to apply them to drive data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with Git version control principles and data governance best practices.
- Proven experience in analytical roles within large customer-facing organizations, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business outcomes.
