Analytica is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead and support advanced data analytics initiatives for a high-profile financial regulatory agency. This position will play a critical role in developing and refining predictive fraud models, improving selection/exclusion criteria, and providing actionable insights to decision-makers.
The program delivers innovative approaches to detect identity theft and reduce false detections, using advanced statistical and analytical software to design, test, and deliver new solutions that directly support fraud detection and prevention.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead development of predictive fraud models and filters.
- Perform advanced statistical and data mining analysis on taxpayer and fraud datasets.
- Design and refine selection/exclusion for fraud detection tools.
- Evaluate results of fraud models and recommend enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor analysts in statistical modeling techniques.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for fraud detection and prevention.
- Develop visualizations and presentations for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of analytical experience, preferably with experience in fraud detection.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance.
