Required skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, preferably with a depth of experience in Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, RMAN, and other Oracle utilities.
- Experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
- Familiarity with operating systems like Linux.
- Experience with database clustering technologies like RAC is often preferred.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Experience in organizations that have a 24/7 reliance on their database is desirable.
