As a Senior Demand Analyst, you'll analyze and forecast demand, generating insights to optimize strategies and performance. You will evaluate demand sources, forecast drivers, and identify conversion issues, all while collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decisions.
We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Senior Demand Analyst to join our Demand Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Demand Operations, this role will be crucial in analyzing and forecasting all demand for Brandwatch, providing data-driven recommendations, predictions, and insights to optimize our demand generation strategies and overall business performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, expertise in data manipulation and visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. They will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and forecast demand across the full funnel, providing comprehensive performance insights.
- Evaluate and report on the performance of various demand sources.
- Provide weekly insights at our Demand Council and related meetings
- Identify and analyze forecast gaps versus plans, recommending opportunities to address shortfalls.
- Forecast key drivers such as headcount by role and pace of ramp.
- Identify sources of leakage (low conversion) in our funnel and recommend solutions.
- Optimize ROI of demand investment through data-driven analysis.
- Identify misalignments across the funnel and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct deep dives into specific performance issues or questions as required.
- Support the development of business cases for investment in demand generation initiatives.
- Partner with Marketing Ops to advise on lead routing optimization.
- Provide analytics support specific to the MDR, BDR, and SDR teams.
- Collaborate with analytics, BI, and data ops teams to develop scalable data infrastructure.
- Utilize AI/ML techniques to analyze and predict demand-related metrics and trends.
- Interpret data from 3rd party tools and CRM systems to derive meaningful insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards in key tools to visualize demand performance and trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, MIS or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/spreadsheets
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Expertise in either Python or R
- Experience with Machine Learning, including building and deploying models
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data in an understandable manner
- Excellent communicator
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Curious and always seeking to uncover insights from data
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
