What You’ll Do
- Report and work with Cloud Manager/Lead or Site reliability engineer to manager SOTI products on Cloud.
- Construct cloud-based servers and solutions for Critical multi-tenant SOTI product, i.e., WebRTC, RTLS
- Overseeing the work of cloud DevOps engineers, Cloud architects and other staff and assist and educate on best DevOps practices.
- Assessing the software architecture needs of Product Management for every release and change on SOTI one platform product and integration between them.
- Ensuring cloud-based systems and programs are secure.
- Work and participate with Cloud Security Architects to work on Security and Compliance controls for various compliance and security Standards
- Contribute to the architecting and implementation of cloud-native and cloud migration solutions
- Write infrastructure automation scripts and templates, and integrating with DevOps tools
- Assist SRE and responsible for uptime by working with architects, development, and cloud infrastructure team.
- Work with the WebRTC and Insight development and infrastructure team across geographies to open bugs, debug issues, creating and employing disaster recovery solutions
- Daily responsibilities include ensuring that our solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well.
- Write test automation scripts such as unit tests, integration tests, performance tests
- Assist Senior Cloud DevOps engineer Or SRE to plan and conduct a release and automation of Canary testing.
- Design and assist automating the DR procedures for SOTI Insight and other products.
Experience You’ll Bring:
- 4+ years in IT or Software Engineering including AWS/Azure cloud environment
- DevOps experience
- Experience with AWS Core Services: CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/ Docker, ELB, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodeCommit / Git, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM
- Highly proficient in Python and nice to have Java, Node JS
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting AWS/Azure production environments
- Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying highly scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure
- Expertise in at least one Technology Domain and working knowledge of other domains and technology including API, Events, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, Data and AI/ML
- Experience with managed Kubernetes services such as Google’s Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Amazon’s Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) or RedHat OpenShift
- Full-stack architecture design experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises with focus on application layer design and infrastructure services.
- Certifications in Cloud Architecture (Oracle Cloud, K8S, OpenShift, Azure, Google Cloud or AWS) is an asset.
- Experience in software design and development in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C# or similar.
- Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Advanced hands-on skills operating in Linux and Windows
- Proven knowledge of application architecture, networking, security, reliability and scalability concepts; software design principles and patterns.
