• Set up proactive alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to ensure 99.9 %+ uptime.

Data & Backup

• Optimize edge delivery via CloudFront and Amplify.

Collaboration & Governance

• Work daily with Jira & Confluence for ticketing and documentation.

• Mentor engineers on DevOps practices and champion Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and security-by-design principles.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch (Logs, Metrics, Alarms), New Relic.
  • Security & Compliance: IAM policy design, CloudTrail, WAF, Secrets Manager, vulnerability scanning (Wiz.io).
  • Networking: VPC design, subnetting, VPN routing, DNS & TLS management (Cloudflare).
  • Soft Skills: Proactive problem-solver, clear communicator, thrives in fast-paced agile teams, documentation champion.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
