Your Opportunity:

The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and business partners to establish and validate metrics for capturing the performance of digital experiences. This could involve the analysis of metrics related to website performance, engagement levels, and the success of email campaigns. All Roche employees are expected to effectively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and coordination and comply with all laws, regulations, policies & procedures that govern our business.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, you will:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret customer, marketing, and web behavioral data to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities.

  • Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track digital performance metrics across channels (email, website, and social media).

  • Suggest enhancements and conduct A/B testing on the user experience by analyzing web traffic data, email campaign performance, etc.

  • Provide ad hoc analyses, insights, and recommendations to business partners on the tactic performance, engagement, and effectiveness of digital campaigns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing and analytics teams) to define KPIs and optimize digital journeys.

  • Develop a strong understanding of content strategy, SEO fundamentals, and digital campaign performance metrics.

  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to business teams, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.

  • Mentor junior team members and train partners on analytics tools, tracking best practices, and reporting frameworks. 

 

Who you are:

  • You holds Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines) with 3-6 years of digital marketing technology experience, preferably in life sciences or healthcare. PG diploma/ certification in tools in digital analytics space is preferred

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels – including email, website, social media, paid campaigns and other tactics

  • Knowledge of attribution modeling, website performance optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, traffic analysis, website/email performance optimization and reporting tools

  • Knowledge of email campaign performance metrics (open rate, CTR, bounce, conversion) and ability to interpret these to derive actionable insights

  • Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), reporting & dashboarding in AEM

  • Experience or working knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) for event and tag implementation

  • Proficiency in tools like Omnibug, Adobe Cloud Debugger, Adobe Launch, and Google Optimise

  • Exposure to web development with Adobe experience extensions is optional

  • Experience in advanced SQL and database topics including query optimization, performance tuning, partitioning, etc.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, details-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals

  • Life science industry experience is preferred
