About the Role

As the Program CEO, the Senior Engineer Program Management leads the cross-functional team to develop and launch product and services acting as the key customer interface to set program objectives, balance profit, quality performance and timing while managing launch risk and change management through launch and into stable production.

Your Team

Team 1 is your core team responsible for development and launch of a compelling product that meets internal/external customer requirements and promotes customer satisfaction. The purpose of Team 1 is to deliver the product in accordance with development milestones into stable production and to meet operating profit over program life. The Team1 consists of sales, design, product sourcing, manufacturing and quality roles and is led by the Senior Engineer Program Management.
What You Will Do

  • Assemble a team to develop and launch a product or service
  • Define program objectives and ways of working and communicating externally and internally
  • Drive the execution of the program
  • Balance triple constraint of cost, timing and quality performance to program objectives
  • Manage changes and program risk while executing the product development and launch process

What You Need

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years product development and/or program management experience with specific experience in at least one area of technical specialization (software, hardware, mechanical or manufacturing) preferably in an automotive application.
  • Developed and launched at least 1 product through the lifecycle from business commitment through stable production.
  • Expected general skills includes, but not limited to, cross functional team leadership, arbitrate technical tradeoffs, problem solving, negotiation, P&L understanding and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

What is Nice to Have

  • Masters of Science, Technical or MBA
  • PMP Certification
  • Automotive supplier, Tier1 Electronics background
  • Direct experience with applicable customer

  • Be willing to travel up to 20%, domestic and international travel
  • Be willing to work in an office, manufacturing facility, Customer location
