Develops, maintains and manages enterprise application standards and systems, including database, network and hosting solutions. Drives the development of detailed configuration parameters, custom extensions, workflow and integration solutions. Responsibilities- Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer to work with our SOA team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that enhance our business processes and data flow across various systems, both on premise and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle's middleware technologies and be adept at leveraging cloud services for integration.
Key Responsibilities: - Development and Integration: Maintain, design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware to integrate various enterprise applications, including but not limited to Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Service Cloud, SafesForce, and other third-party systems.
- Middleware Management: Manage and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle WebLogic Server. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of middleware services.
- API Development: Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs using Oracle API Platform Cloud Services (APICS) to facilitate data exchange and service orchestration across different platforms.
- Process Automation: Automate business processes using Oracle Process Cloud Service, ensuring efficiency and compliance with business rules.
- Cloud Integration: Diebold Nixdorf also utilizes Oracle Integration Cloud for hybrid integrations, connecting on-premises systems with cloud applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. On occasion we work with our OIC team for problem resolution. A general understanding of OIC is a plus but not required.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to integration flows, middleware configurations, and cloud services. Provide technical support to internal teams and occasionally to external clients.
- Documentation and Training: Document integration solutions, including architecture, design, and deployment details. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff on new integrations and middleware functionalities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced certifications in Oracle technologies are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud integration patterns and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Oracle Integration Cloud, including adapters, process automation, and API management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, JSON/XML, XSLT, and SQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, Rapid Iterative Techniques, Parking Lot Pattern, and tools like Jenkins, and Code Repositories is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Work with multinational teams.
- Work hours that at minimum partially cover US Eastern Standard Time.
- Certifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) in relevant Oracle technologies, Oracle Integration Cloud will be taken into consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Enterprise Applications.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
