Job description

Experience with implementation experience with clients in Europe, USA, and other countries.

Work with internal Wolters Kluwer clients to define their requirements, evaluate alternative solutions, refine business processes, and provide important insight into the feasibility and business benefit of proposed SAP FICO solutions and projects
-
SAP configuration expert in SAP FICO Modules which includes but are not limited to the following--AP, AR Credit Management, GL, New GL, Asset, Profit Centre Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, COPA, Revenue Recognition, Allocations, Product Costing, Foreign Currency, Multiple Companies and Tax accounting.

Familiar with GAAP and IFRS guidelines and its associated SAP functions.

Experience with OTC and P2P functions.

Experience with ASAP Methodology and other methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile)
-
Analysis, planning, logical and physical design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, training and support of SAP FICO solutions and related interfaces.

Develop technical design/solutions for projects (new projects, enhancements and issues resolution) for our SAP implementation supporting multiple departments.

Lead requirements and design review sessions to resolve modules possible effects.

Experience in SAP R2R:
-
Classic and New General ledger including profit centre and segment accounting
-
Controlling experience (cost centre accounting, Project system and COPA)
-
Asset accounting
-
Accounts Payable, payment programme, electronic payments, withholding tax
-
Accounts Receivable, OTC integration, credit management
-
Electronic bank statement processing, credit cards, lockbox processing
-
Tax code configuration, VAT reports and other tax reports for Europe.

Work with multiple currencies, revaluation,
-
Write LSMW, do data loads, reconcile data
-
Technical
-
Understand the SAP architecture, operating systems and technologies to facilitate solutions for WK
-
General understanding of ABAP development and SAP Basis function
-
Experience with SAP user exits and scripts relevant to the modules of expertise
-
Customer Interaction
-
Work with WK internal customers and others within WK to understand our needs and share SAP module knowledge, both technical and functional
-
Contribute to the development of project planning
-
Work with internal customers and SAP Business Analysts to analyse a problem, think creatively and offer a variety of technical and functional solution options and to influence and negotiate appropriate option selections in the best interest of the internal customers' area of business

Work Experience:
-
10 or more years' experience in SAP configuration or other ERP system implementation and support or other programming, configuration, or business systems analysis with 8 years SAP Software
-
Experience coordinating small to medium projects SAP projects
-
Mentor/train other Software engineers on the items above.

Communicate the impacts of new requirements regarding effort, time and cost based on a understanding of current requirements and established technical configuration and functional business process built in SAP
-
Communicate progress of multiple programmes to project partners and management.
-
Help develop change control processes, practices, and guidelines for all technologies.
-
Participate in developing in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems.
-
Will have some overlap with the teams working in Europe/USA.
