UTILIZE CLOUD ENGINEERING EXPERTISE TO CULTIVATE A CULTURE OF COST EFFICIENCY. DRIVE AND CONTRIBUTE TO ATLASSIAN'S MISSION TO UNCOVER INSIGHTS INTO SPENDING AND OPTIMIZE COSTS TO SUPPORT LONG-TERM GROWTH. MANAGE THE CLOUD FINOPS TEAM'S COMMITMENT COVERAGE AND UTILIZATION TO DRIVE RATE OPTIMIZATION. LEAD DISCUSSIONS OR NEGOTIATIONS WITH CLOUD VENDORS ON PRICING. GATHER AND ANALYZE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS BY WORKING CLOSELY WITH STAKEHOLDERS, ENGINEERING TEAMS AND EXECUTIVES TO ADDRESS THEIR NEEDS AND FIND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS. BUILD DATA MODELS AND DEFINE NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR OPTIMIZATION OF ATLASSIAN'S CLOUD COSTS. BUILD RECOMMENDATIONS TO DRIVE ADOPTION OF BEST PRACTICES FOR TEAMS. DEVELOP TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR TEAMS TO ENHANCE THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF COSTS. MENTOR AND COACH JUNIOR ANALYSTS AND FACILITATE KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE FINOPS GUILD.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: SEVEN (7) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST, DATA ANALYST AND/OR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ENGINEER/SPECIALIST/DEVELOPER INCLUDING THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CLOUD FINOPS AT AN ENTERPRISE SCALE; THREE YEARS TECHNICAL OR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE WITH AWS, WITH DATA VISUALIZATION PRACTICES AND IN EFFECTIVE STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT; INCLUDING THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH SQL AND PYTHON AND IN CRAFTING HIGH-QUALITY AND RELIABLE QUERIES ACROSS COMPLEX DATA SOURCES.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: FINOPS CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER. MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
