Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Automation Engineer to join our Global Business Services (GBS) – Process Excellence, Automation & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and scaling reusable cloud-native automation components, secure integrations, and lightweight workflow applications. You will join an engineering-led automation program that is scaling beyond traditional automation into API-first, cloud-native, and data-aware solutions.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will:
Architect and build end-to-end, cloud-native automation solutions, secure integrations, and lightweight workflow applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Collaborate with Process Excellence, AI, and data teams to engineer automated data flows to BigQuery, prototype intelligent automation workflows, and mentor junior developers.
Ensure all solutions adhere to engineering best practices by implementing robust observability, enforcing security standards, and upholding code quality through rigorous design reviews.
The ideal candidate will have:
7–10 years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years designing cloud-native integrations and large-scale workflows.
Strong knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript or Python, RESTful API design, React/Angular, SQL (BigQuery/SQL Server), Docker, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines.
Proven ability in secure design (OAuth2/OIDC) and practical experience integrating enterprise systems like Oracle Financials, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (specifically Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Workflows, Pub/Sub, Identity and Access Management, and Secret Manager) and BigQuery.
