8x8 is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team in Cebu, Philippines. You will play a crucial role in the development of a new SaaS product, collaborating closely with colleagues from Singapore, Europe, and North America, and engaging actively in our dynamic, agile environment.
Responsibilities:

Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end systems.

Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and Redux based on provided designs and wireframes.

Optimize components to deliver maximum performance across diverse devices and browsers.

Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

Take ownership of code quality, actively contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale applications.

At least 7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, working primarily with Java, Spring Framework and JavaScript.

Significant expertise with ReactJS and Redux; experience with AngularJS or VueJS is beneficial.

Proficient in HTML5, CSS.

Excellent development experience with Java-based RESTful web services.

Good knowledge of Java concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous APIs.

Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, and web security practices.

Understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.

Experience with test automation frameworks at the unit and integration levels.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD practices (using Jenkins or GitHub), and SaaS product development.
