The Impact You'll Make
We’re looking for two Senior Full-Stack Engineers with a strong backend mindset to help design, build, and scale core product systems. This role is hands-on and impact-driven: you’ll work end-to-end on features, make architectural decisions, and help raise the engineering bar as the product and team grow.
You should be comfortable owning systems in production, navigating ambiguity, and making pragmatic trade-offs typical of a startup environment.
Currently, we are only able to hire candidates who have legal work permit to be employed n Bangladesh.
What You'll Do
- Own the design and implementation of backend systems and APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Build and ship full-stack features using Next.js, with an emphasis on performance and reliability
- Design, evolve, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries at scale
- Make architectural decisions with long-term scalability in mind
- Deploy and operate services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues
- Collaborate closely with product and design to turn ideas into shipped features
- Review code, set standards, and mentor other engineers
- Improve development workflows, tooling, and system observability
What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong backend engineering background (API design, auth, data integrity, system design)
- Production experience with Next.js
- Strong relational database experience, especially PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
- Experience shipping and maintaining real-world production systems
- Strong ownership mindset and bias toward execution
Nice to Have
- Experience designing systems from early-stage to scale
- Familiarity with ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, etc.) and query optimization
- Experience with serverless or event-driven architectures
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
- Previous startup experience
