Job Description- Employment Type: Full Time
- Role: Senior Fullstack Engineer (PHP/JavaScript)
- Experience: 7 to 10 years
- Work Location: Chennai - Hybrid
- Salary: INR 7,00,000 - 18,00,000 PA
We are looking for a senior engineer who can work independently on tasks and provide feedback and suggestions to product owners and lead engineers to improve code quality and long-term maintainability. Being aware of the impact of design and implementation choices on the user experience, deployments and other considerations beyond just the assigned task is a must. You should have excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in identifying root causes, not just knowing what tools to use for investigation. You should be very proficient in Laravel 10 and have a mastery of JavaScript Core. You must be able to write clear and efficient code with comments and documentation in tickets.
Qualifications- Extensive experience of Laravel (4 - 5 years), especially Laravel 10
- Expert skill in vanilla JavaScript ("JS Core")
- Excellent skills using jQuery
- Excellent skill in vanilla CSS to translate UX Figma designs into working HTML/JS pages and/or components
- Understanding of code principles and design patterns
- Good experience working directly with MySQL in addition to Eloquent
- Good knowledge of browser APIs
- Ability to work with product owners and stakeholders to make best decisions for the product and level of effort
- Excellent written and spoken English required
- Experience working in an agile/scrum sprint process
- Experience in using version control, Git/Github experience a plus
