Job Description:
The Senior GIS Engineer will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Director, Asset Management.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Monitoring production and quality assessment of data sets.
- Preprocessing and Postprocessing of Drone data.
- Processing and Conversion of Ground Control (GCP) points Geo referencing and Assigning Projection systems. Deriving products from drone data such as Orthophotos, Mosaic, DSM, DTM, Contour and Grids.
- Interpreting data in order to recognize trends and potential problem areas.
- Image Classification and Pattern recognition.
- Labelling and filtering Defects by type and by temperature gradient.
- Detecting hotspots, evaluating energy loss and tracking defects over time.
- Creating colour coded site maps, reflectance map and detailed reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional groups to ensure data flows through the pipeline to production.
- Planning and executing daily operations to ensure project goals are met.
- Designed and lead international projects in Thermal data Analysis and construction Monitoring from Australia, US , Spain , Brazil, Kenya and so on.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience in Geographic Information system.
- Strong understanding of drone data processing software (both commercial and open source such as PIX4D, Drone deploy, Agisoft etc.)
- Solid experience in ArcGIS, QGIS and AutoCAD.
- Ability to individually handle and delivers projects such as Aerial thermography, Construction Monitoring, Terrain Analysis (Topography) and Hydrology.
