As a Senior Golang Engineer on our new Public Gateway team, you’ll design and implement a highly available, scalable, and secure entry point for millions of global transactions.
This is a greenfield project where you’ll have a direct impact on shaping the architecture, performance, and developer experience of our core platform.
🚀 What You'll Do
- Architect and build backend microservices for a new public API gateway from the ground up
- Design secure, reliable, and developer-friendly APIs
- Implement rate limiting, authentication, monitoring, and resilience patterns at scale
- Collaborate closely with platform, security, and product teams to define API standards
- Optimize systems for high throughput and low latency processing
- Take ownership across the full development lifecycle – from design to production operations
🛠 Tech Stack
Backend: Golang
Databases: MongoDB, Couchbase, distributed systems
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, Kafka, SQS), Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana
🔍 We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of production Golang experience (microservices, concurrency)
- Strong background in cloud-native systems (AWS, Kubernetes or other)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed systems
- Strong communication skills (English B2+)
- Passion for infrastructure and observability
- Knowledge of fintech or designing public APIs
