Role Overview/Job Responsibilities
The HR Operations role is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle with a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance, and employee experience. The role oversees end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, payroll and HRIS coordination, benefits administration, and statutory compliance across all company entities. This position ensures accurate HR records, timely system updates, and adherence to labor laws while supporting policy implementation, process improvements, and SOP documentation. The role also acts as a key point of contact for employee queries, and MIS reporting, providing actionable HR insights to leadership in collaboration with the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
This role needs global exposure as one must manage engagement for employees in US, LATAM, Europe and India. Europe HR exposure is not a mandate. Also, need someone with IT industry experience.
- Manage end‑to‑end employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring timely documentation, system updates, and compliance.
- Handle payroll inputs, monthly HRIS updates, attendance validation, and coordination with finance/payroll teams.
- Administer employee benefits including enrolments, exits, queries, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and data accuracy across HR systems and internal trackers.
- Oversee statutory compliance requirements all company entities with the help of HR Manager (POSH, Shops & Establishments, labor law filings, audits, etc.
- Support policy implementation, process improvements, and SOP documentation for HR operations.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes (confirmation, letters, internal movements, updates).
- Address day‑to‑day employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, time off, and payroll.
- Coordinate with vendors for insurance, background checks, HR tools, and compliance support.
- Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and periodic HR analytics for leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll inputs, attendance management, and HRIS systems.
- Experience in employee benefits administration, statutory compliance, and labor law requirements (POSH, Shops & Establishments, PF, ESI, audits, filings.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate HR records and manage employee data across multiple systems.
- Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders (Finance, Payroll) and external vendors (insurance, background verification, HR tools).
- Strong understanding of HR policies, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to generate MIS reports, dashboards, and HR analytics for leadership review.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
