Role:

  1. To Lead the Design team.
  2. To manage the planning and allocation of all design briefs to the design team.
  3. Follow up with the team on a daily basis to ensure output is happening as per plan.

                                                                                                 


Responsibilities:


1.       Once briefs are loaded to the design team, this person needs to get the planning done, as per time norms given, and working with the different project owners.

2.      A daily tracking and follow up to ensure output is happening as per plan.

3.      Daily and weekly reports need to be published to the Design Head, and the Project owners, in terms of status of briefs, and revised output dates where required.

4.      Where delays are happening, they need to work with the respective project owners and figure out a plan to get the output back on track.

5.      Also coordinate with New Product Development team to ensure design output is in sync with the requirements.

                                               
Preferred Experience and skills:

1.       10 years of experience as a Jewellery Designer and has to be from jewellery industry.

2.      Manage a team of minimum 7 people.

3.      With Team lead experience of minimum 3-4 years

4.      Preferably with an experience in India and export markets

5.      Need to have a strong sense of being able to adapt existing designs/products to fit the customer’s requirements, as well as to generate fresh ideas.

6.      Having good communication skills is important.
