This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role responsible for Evaluating new suppliers and developing, auditing, monitoring and improving supplier capabilities to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, quality, and sourcing teams across Marmon Group companies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Ferrous Castings, Forgings, Sheet Metal, Fabrication and Precision Machined Components, along with a deep understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and ISO/IATF standards.
This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role responsible for Evaluating new suppliers and developing, auditing, monitoring and improving supplier capabilities to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, quality, and sourcing teams across Marmon Group companies.
Mandatory Skills
11–14 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance / Supplier Technical Assistance for mechanical components
Strong understanding of IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 quality management systems
Proficiency in Ferrous Castings, Forgings, Sheet Metal, Fabrication and Precision Machined Component manufacturing processes
Hands-on experience with Core tools of Quality, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, problem-solving methodologies.
Desired Skills
Lead Auditor certification in IATF 16949 & ISO 9001
Experience in new vendor development and supplier performance improvement
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, VAVE and Poka-Yoke methodologies
Exposure to ASME, ASTM, Global quality standards and international supplier audits.
Data Analysis and Quality reporting (Monthly and Quarterly)
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
