Senior Manager - Business Intelligence

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Team & Delivery Leadership

• Lead a team of 50–75 analysts and data professionals; manage performance, development, and career progression.

• Ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate delivery of insights, reports, and dashboards to clients.

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.

Client Engagement

• Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client interactions and analytical deliverables.

• Understand client objectives and proactively suggest solutions that align with their business goals.

• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions alongside the Director.

Analytics & BI Execution

• Oversee execution of projects involving data analysis, visualization, and reporting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Python/R.

• Review and validate analytical outputs to ensure actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Support the Director in identifying opportunities to enhance offerings using new data sources, tools, or techniques.

Operational Excellence

• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and issue resolution to ensure efficient operations.

• Monitor team productivity and introduce process improvements to drive performance.

• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and upskilling initiatives within the analytics team.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineering, marketing, strategy) to deliver integrated solutions.

• Provide regular updates to the Director and other stakeholders on project progress, risks, and client satisfaction.

• Support the Director in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational reviews.

• Strong experience in Insights, Analytics, and Business Intelligence

• Proven ability to manage client-facing analytics projects and deliver business value

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Python/R

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to clients and internal leadership

• Experience managing small to mid-sized teams (25-50 members)

• Strong understanding of marketing, customer, or operational analytics depending on industry
