The Senior Manager of Finance & Accounts oversees MIS and SEZ activities, supervises financial operations, and drives efficiency in financial processes while managing a professional team.
Senior Manager-Finance & Accounts manages Management Information Systems (MIS) department along with the Special Economic Zone activities at the site and supervises Financial Operation support with month-end-close activities, budgeting, forecasting, actual spend reporting, day-to-day accuracy of financial records, Supervises a team of professionals managing all the day to day activities, filing, endorsements, Bill of entry filing, liaison with customs as and when required. The role requires an individual who is capable of driving efficiency through continuous improvement of operational and financial process, while working in a complex, matrix environment and managing competing priorities. Ability to interact with all levels across organization and departments within and outside the site. Drives the MIS reporting and SEZ activities and compliances related to finance and SEZ process and procedures and site.

Finance & Accounting
Core Responsibilities but not limited to :
- Supervise monthly close processes: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
- Partnering with key leaders in order to understand business needs
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
- Supervise all the SEZ activities independently: Endorsements, Bill of entry, filings, SEZ compliances etc.,
- Driving to achieve the financial targets for the site
- Work towards imbibing financial control and discipline across the site
Specific Responsibilities :
- Strong technical accounting knowledge. (FASB, US GAAP, GAAP)
- Supervise monthly close processes: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
- Manage all audit activities at the site
- Builds relationship with shared service providers (GFS and CoE)
- Perform budget vs. actual analysis reviews with various levels of management
- Own budget preparation and budget vs. actual P&L files
- Prepare all financial reporting packages including Waterfall analysis
- Own corporate submissions and financial reporting to Corporate
- Partner with cross-functional business counterparts to develop annual business plans and analyze year-to-date performance and historical trends
- Collaborate with responsible parties to develop action plans to close any identified gaps
- Make financial updates in accordance with Pfizer policies
- Handle inter-company transactions with affiliate companies
- Manage SOX control documentation and participate in SOX testing and audit activities as needed
- Handle a team which manages SEZ processes, filings, day-to-day activities, representation for any SEZ related matters
- Timely clearance, Endorsements of incoming, outgoing material, capital etc
- Periodical filings
- SEZ compliances
- Manage audits
- Job work compliances for temporary removal of materials (Domestic & Abroad)

Advanced Competencies:
- SAP S4 HANA or SAP Hyperion experience is required.
- Strong Excel and power point skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and power point is required; including ability to create and use complex models is also required.
