This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of financial planning and analysis at Moderna, operating from our Enterprise Solution Hub (MESH) in Warsaw. As Senior Manager, FP&A, you will drive process transformation, automation, and forward-looking insight generation to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and finance, leveraging intelligent systems and scalable tools to unlock value and deliver operational excellence. With a focus on innovation, digital enablement, and continuous improvement, you will lead critical initiatives that modernize planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will act as a key collaborator with global functional FP&A teams, Finance Systems, IT, and Accounting—ensuring aligned, data-driven operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role well-suited to an agile and ambitious finance professional looking to drive real change and engage with advanced technologies, including AI and predictive analytics.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Redesign and enhance FP&A processes with a focus on simplification, automation, and intelligent tooling.

  • Identify and deploy innovative automation solutions that streamline reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.

  • Lead ERP, planning, and reporting system integrations to support seamless workflows and real-time insight generation.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial operations, focusing on agility, standardization, and digitalization.

  • Spearhead the adoption of AI and predictive analytics to improve forecasting and scenario modeling capabilities.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Build intelligent self-service dashboards and reporting tools for Finance and business stakeholders.

  • Lead data governance and collaborate across Finance, IT, and Accounting to ensure quality and consistency across platforms.

  • Oversee variance analysis, actuals integrity, and cost center reconciliation processes.

  • Support financial planning cycles including forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans in collaboration with FP&A partners.

  • Deliver high-quality financial presentations and strategic insights to senior leaders and executive committees.

  • Manage or support global and regional finance transformation projects as a key change agent within the organization.

  • Align financial systems, tools, and workflows across cross-functional teams to support global business needs.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A, with increasing levels of responsibility

  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP)

  • Experience supporting large-scale planning, forecasting, or reporting cycles

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • MBA or other advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

  • Experience with tier-1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Exposure to AI/ML use cases in finance, robotic process automation (RPA), or other digital transformation efforts

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A bias toward innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement
