OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for leading a team of experienced Master Data experts in activities for master data projects and business day to day requirements for the Kraft Heinz Company. This person will manage internal and external project resources owning master data implementation delivery.
This role would require:
- Leading medium to large scale data migration projects, partnering with the Biz and acting as the SPOC for Data Migration & MDG implementation delivery
- Lead and advice business process improvement on SAP MDG enablement initiatives
- Interacting with internal & external project resources in successfully delivering the Data migration & MDG implementation across multiple projects spanning multiple different geographical locations & Tech landscapes
- Working with the Global Master data Service delivery team & the Business to ensure seamless BAU continuity of Biz operations after project go-live
- Participate in the development of and implementation of global/regional data policies at the regional / departmental level
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years experience Project management with experience in leading large scale data migration & master data governance implementation projects
- 5+ years experience in Master Data management and governance
- Should be Techno-Functional in Master Data Governance and have experience in at least one of the Master Data domains - Product/Material, Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), and Finance
- Experience in leading/managing a group of internal and external resources in delivering required data tools for migration
- Experience in Master Data Governance projects and knowledgeable on global delivery model operations
- Experience in business process definition and data modeling, data architecture and data quality
- Should have worked on Data models (enhance data model in Flex/Re-Use mode), Rule based workflow, BRF + configuration, update Decision tables, HANA Search, Data quality duplicate checks and DRFOUT framework, SAP BTP
- Persuasive communicator, strong facilitator with the ability to be flexible and adjust approach to each situation
- Strong overall SAP knowledge - WRICEFs, ECC, MDG Workflow, Data Services, Ariba, S4, etc
- Data migration exposure from requirements gathering, mapping, data construction, testing, training document creation and execution, go live and support
- Experience working with MS Excel, Access and SQL based tools with the ability to write SQL queries to perform data mining and analysis
- Previous work experience must include working tools like SAP MDG, IBM Infosphere MDM, Informatica MDM, Collibra etc.
- Ability to understand and address Master Data Quality Issues.
- Ability to understand Data Quality concepts and lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders w.r.t. data management/quality platforms and products
- Data Modeling Experience preferred along with good understanding of data warehousing and data integration concepts.
- The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed, and be capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Minimum more than 1, End to End implementation experience in MDG including hands-on design and configuration.
- Experience in Data Governance/Quality management tool like Collibra and reporting tool like Tableau/PowerBI
- Experience with the FMCG industry is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead/ interact/ liaise with internal and external resources of project, ensure Master Data deliverables are delivered as aligned per Project milestones
- Play the role of Project Data Delivery Lead, leading the team & facilitating design sessions, determine optimal designs, develop functional and business process specifications, oversee build and execution of test plans and own deployment of the solution to the organization, including documentation, training, and business support thus ensuring proper change management
- Act as Technical Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions; Effectively interact with Leadership and end-users to understand business needs and supporting data & process requirements
- Coordinate with data team, functional process teams, functional business and technical stakeholders to ensure delivery work is progressing on time, per scope & release requirements and with the highest quality
- Ability to lead discussions/team across multiple domains
- Help define and develop standards, guidelines, Data processes
- Work with IT & Business Leadership to develop and manage project scope, assign and schedule resources, and monitor deliverable progress
- Responsible for identifying the impacts and requirements for Data Management to support the organization's To-Be vision within the system, and for verifying the project team is meeting the business objectives
- Manage the effort to analyze, cleanse, convert and load data into the target application architecture and provide direction to the Data team members
- Lead communication efforts directly and through influence with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Data Management Factory, IT Master Data Team, Data Operations and Governance to support all domain processes
