Lead end-to-end FP&A and enterprise forecasting, build rigorous financial models and valuations, create executive dashboards/early-warning BI systems, mentor a two-person reporting team, harmonize cross-functional KPIs, assess investments and capital allocation, and translate data into actionable insights for C-level decision-making.
The summary above was generated by AI
  • Elite Financial Modelling: Master-level proficiency in Excel; capable of building dynamic, three-statement financial models, DCF valuations, and complex scenario analyses from scratch.
  • Consultative Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to apply MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) frameworks to break down ambiguous business challenges.
  • Executive Presence: High emotional intelligence with the ability to push back, influence, and align cross-functional VP/C-level stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Data-to-Insight Translation: Familiarity with modern BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and a proven track record of synthesizing massive datasets into concise, actionable executive presentations.
Responsibilities

1. Strategic FP&A & Enterprise Forecasting

  • Own the end-to-end Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) lifecycle, serving as the ultimate custodian of the business's financial trajectory.
  • Orchestrate bottom-up and top-down forecasting cycles by partnering seamlessly with Operations, Technology, Analytics, and Client-Facing departments.
  • Ensure all revenue and cost forecasts are rigorously pressure-tested, aligned with corporate growth targets, and optimized for margin expansion.

2. Business Intelligence, Risk Mitigation & Insight Generation

  • Deconstruct the business into its core operational and financial levers to establish a proactive, data-driven governance framework.
  • Design and implement an executive "early warning system"—setting up automated alerts and real-time dashboards to identify emerging operational risks or margin leakages.
  • Translate complex real-time data into strategic insights, empowering business heads to course-correct instantly and capitalize on internal optimization opportunities.

3. Cross-Functional KPI Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and quality-control the output of a two-person centralized reporting team, elevating their work from basic data gathering to executive-level synthesis.
  • Harmonize fragmented reporting structures by designing comprehensive dashboards that integrate Financial, Operational, HR, and Technological KPIs into a single source of truth.
  • Ensure absolute data integrity and narrative clarity before executive distribution, translating technical or operational metrics into compelling business narratives.
  • Lead the financial and strategic evaluation of all new market opportunities, product launches, and strategic pursuits.
  • Architect robust, standardized financial models and business case templates to determine the ROI, payback period, and strategic viability of prospective investments.
  • Act as a vital "gatekeeper" for capital allocation, advising the executive board on strict financial and operational parameters that must be met before a pursuit is greenlit.
Qualifications
  • Top-Tier Pedigree: MBA from a premier institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, or global equivalents) or CA/CFA charterholder with an exceptional academic track record.
  • Relevant Tenure: 6–9 years of progressive experience, with a mandatory background in top-tier Strategy Consulting (MBB, Monitor Deloitte, Strategy&, Kearney) or Investment Banking / Private Equity.
  • Industry Nuance: Prior exposure to the Payment Integrity, Healthcare RCM, FinTech, or IT/ITES sectors is highly advantageous but not mandatory.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
