The Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Technical Accounting to join our controllership team. In this role, you will investigate complex accounting issues, drive process improvements, and play a critical part in developing new accounting policies while supporting our financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and document new accounting policies, ensuring cross-functional implementation.
- Design and implement processes in consolidation and financial reporting.
- Conduct technical research and document conclusions for complex accounting transactions.
- Prepare consolidated annual financial statements under US GAAP standards and associated disclosures.
- Liaise with external auditors on key accounting matters and support accounting and finance teams during audits.
- Lead special projects and address reporting and general accounting issues.
- Provide training and guidance to finance and accounting staff on technical accounting matters.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification required.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Big4 public accounting and/or large public companies, ideally in the technology sector.
- Familiarity with SOX and SEC reporting is a plus.
- Experience in technical accounting and financial accounting, reporting

- Demonstrated ability to manage technical accounting functions and lead process improvements.
- Proven experience conducting in-depth technical research and presenting findings clearly.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in implementing accounting policies.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
