Our development focuses on state-of-the-art soft-body physics vehicle simulation, currently available as an early access videogame - BeamNG.drive, and as a stand-alone research platform - BeamNG.tech

We are looking for a Senior Marketing, PR & Communications Specialist to join our Communications & Marketing team. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can lead creative marketing, PR, and communications initiatives from strategy to execution. You will help shape how BeamNG communicates with players, media, creators, partners, and the wider gaming community, while working closely with a diverse team of specialists across multiple channels and regions.

Responsibilities

  • Own integrated marketing, PR, and communications campaigns across organic, paid, earned, owned, and partner channels
  • Develop compelling messaging and campaign narratives for product updates, announcements, newsletters, storefronts, landing pages, social media, and community platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media outlets, journalists, creators, influencers, platform partners, and community stakeholders
  • Plan and execute impactful initiatives that grow our audience, strengthen community engagement, and amplify major BeamNG beats
  • Coordinate content production for promotional materials, ensuring assets are creative, high-quality, on-brand, and aligned with marketing objectives
  • Monitor campaign performance, media coverage, audience trends, community sentiment, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and improve future initiatives
  • Support and guide day-to-day marketing, PR, and community operations, while helping improve workflows, planning processes, and cross-team collaboration

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, PR, communications, community, publishing, or a comparable role, ideally within the gaming industry
  • Excellent understanding of videogame marketing, games media, creator ecosystems, player communities, and digital audience development
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Proven experience planning and leading organic, paid, PR, influencer, or creator campaigns across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Discord, Steam, and related channels
  • Strong PR skills, including media outreach, pitching, press materials, interview coordination, review programs, and coverage tracking
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful player-centric campaigns, creative promotions, PR initiatives, content strategies, or community activations
  • Practical knowledge of content creation tools and software such as in-game capture, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, Figma, Adobe Suite, or similar tools

Nice to have

  • Passion for videogames and interest in automotive culture, simulation, motorsport, or vehicle-based games
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote, international environment
  • Previous experience working with an indie game development studio, publisher, PR agency, platform, or creator-focused organization
  • Experience mentoring, coordinating, or leading marketing, PR, communications, community, or content contributors
  • Familiarity with gaming platforms and workflows such as Steam, Epic Games Store, Discord, forums, newsletters, press kits, and storefront communications
  • Basic familiarity with web development, HTML/CSS, or programming/scripting languages such as Lua, Python, or Go would be a plus

Benefits
  • Flexible working hours
  • Language courses
  • Talent development program (training budget, participation in seminars/conferences, and etc)
  • Personal development program (feedback, leadership, conflict engagement, etc)
  • Budget for home office
  • Parental leave
  • Employee assistance program
  • Relocation assistance (if applicable)

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
