About Maersk:

Maersk, the world’s largest integrated logistics company, is transforming how goods move across continents — and at the heart of that shift is platform-led AI. Through MIDAS (Maersk Integrated Data and AI Solution), we are building an enterprise-grade data and AI foundation that powers operational intelligence, customer copilots, agent-based automation, and emissions optimization at global scale.

We’re hiring a foundational team to build our AI/ML Platform - a composable, governed, multi-tenant layer enabling enterprise-wide GenAI, RAG pipelines, and ML lifecycle management. If you’re excited to architect and scale real-time LLM infrastructure, reusable ML workflows, and agentic systems, this is your moment.

Overview:

As a Senior ML Engineer, you’ll build and scale high-availability model workflows—covering everything from feature engineering to inference delivery. You’ll contribute to platform reliability, observability, and reusability across core ML use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build CI/CD pipelines for training, validation, and deployment
  • Implement APIs for scoring (real-time, batch) with monitoring hooks
  • Integrate with feature stores and metadata registries
  • Track model drift, retraining triggers, and usage metrics
  • Ensure consistent packaging, deployment, and rollback paths for ML models

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5–8 years in applied ML, data science engineering, or MLOps roles
  • Strong in MLflow, SageMaker, PyTorch/Sklearn, containerization
  • Familiarity with real-time inference, monitoring (Prometheus/W&B), and lifecycle tooling
  • Strong coding skills in Python, with reproducible pipeline practices

Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking. What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
