Senior .NET Backend Developer

We’re committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients through a dedicated team, strong execution, and technology-driven solutions. ## Job Summary We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our team in Coimbatore, India. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with 0–5 years of experience who can take ownership of backend services and APIs, build reliable and scalable systems, and collaborate closely with product and operations teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions. ## Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core (Web API). * Build and evolve RESTful APIs, ensuring clean contracts, versioning strategy, and strong documentation. * Translate business requirements into technical designs, estimates, and deliverable milestones. * Implement authentication/authorization and secure data handling (JWT/OAuth concepts, role-based access). * Design and optimize data access layers; write efficient queries and support schema changes (SQL Server preferred). * Improve performance, reliability, and scalability through profiling, caching, and thoughtful architecture decisions. * Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate unit/integration tests and strong error handling. * Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute reusable patterns and libraries. * Support deployments and production operations: debugging, monitoring, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis. * Collaborate with frontend, QA, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage technical trade-offs. ## Required Skills * Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core (Web API), with solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles. * Experience designing and building REST APIs, including validation, pagination, and consistent error responses. * Working knowledge of authentication/authorization and secure coding practices (JWT/OAuth concepts). * Strong SQL skills (SQL Server preferred): schema design basics, joins, indexing fundamentals, and query optimization. * Experience with Entity Framework Core (or similar ORM) and understanding of data modeling and migrations. * Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code review practices. * Understanding of software engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, layering, and basic system design. * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. ## Good to Have * Experience with Azure/AWS services and deploying .NET applications to cloud environments. * Exposure to Docker and containerized deployments. * CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). * Experience with testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit) and API testing tools (Postman/Newman). * Knowledge of microservices patterns, background jobs, message queues, or event-driven architecture. * Familiarity with observability practices: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring dashboards. ## Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). * 0–5 years of software development experience with demonstrable backend projects in .NET. ## Why Join Us? * Opportunity to build impactful backend systems that support real-world data operations at scale. * Ownership and visibility: your work directly influences product reliability, performance, and delivery quality. * Collaborative, growth-oriented environment with room to learn, lead, and expand responsibilities. * Competitive compensation and a team culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
