Coordinates end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, employee records, performance management, learning and development, engagement, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and wellbeing initiatives. Provides guidance on HR policies and labor law while supporting disciplinary processes, reporting, succession planning, and organizational culture programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee exit processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Administer attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee benefits.
- Coordinate performance management activities, including appraisals and probation reviews.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development programmes.
- Promote employee engagement, staff welfare, and organisational culture initiatives.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labour law compliance.
- Support disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution processes.
- Prepare monthly HR report
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Support occupational health, safety, and employee wellbeing programmes.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification or membership with the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana, or an equivalent professional body
- Master degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years relevant experience in Human Resource Management.
- Experience in manufacturing, waste management, industrial operations, or a similar environment is an advantage.
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) and other relevant employment legislation.
- Understanding of HR best practices, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations.
