The Reporting, Insights & Analytics team is on a mission to harness the power of data to guide strategic decisions and improve business operations. Reporting directly into our Chief Data Office, this team collaborates closely with C-Suite executives and Business Unit leaders to develop products, refine processes, and generate actionable insights on a global scale.

 

As a member of this team, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality business intelligence solutions that power decision-making across Sales & Pipeline, Engagement Economics, Capacity Planning, and other core operational areas. You will contribute to the development of reports, dashboards, and data models that help leadership monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.

 

This role requires strong analytical thinking, foundational BI engineering skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. It is ideal for someone who is passionate about data, eager to grow within a modern cloud data environment, and motivated to contribute to enterprise-wide analytics transformation.

 

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator to oversee the administration, governance, and operational management of our Power BI environment. This role will be responsible for managing the Power BI platform, maintaining and governing our Git repository for BI assets, automating administrative and deployment processes, and establishing controlled, reliable deployment practices across development, test, and production environments. The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI platform expertise with experience in source control, DevOps, automation, and governance.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support the enterprise Power BI environment, including tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, capacity, security, and user access.

  • Manage and maintain the Git repository for Power BI assets, including version control, branching strategy, pull request processes, and repository standards.

  • Develop and maintain automation for Power BI administrative tasks, deployment workflows, and operational processes using appropriate scripting and DevOps tools.

  • Govern and manage deployment pipelines across development, testing, and production environments to ensure consistency, quality, and change control.

  • Define and enforce Power BI governance standards, including workspace structure, naming conventions, dataset management, security roles, deployment controls, and release approvals.

  • Monitor platform health, usage, capacity, refresh performance, and gateway reliability; troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.

  • Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to support report lifecycle management and promote best practices.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for Power BI content, including reports, semantic models, dataflows, and related artifacts.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies for data security, access management, auditability, and change management.

  • Document administrative procedures, deployment standards, repository practices, and automation workflows.

  • Provide guidance and support for Power BI development standards, release management, and production support.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen governance through automation and standardization.

     

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience administering Microsoft Power BI in an enterprise environment.

  • Strong understanding of Power BI governance, tenant administration, workspaces, gateways, capacities, security, and deployment pipelines.

  • Experience managing Git repositories, including branching, merging, pull requests, and version control best practices.

  • Experience automating workflows using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, or similar tools.

  • Experience designing or supporting CI/CD and release management processes for analytics or BI platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of environment management and deployment governance across dev, test, and production.

  • Ability to troubleshoot platform, refresh, access, and deployment issues.

  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
