Establish data modeling, metadata, quality, and reporting standards while partnering with executives and data owners to define strategic KPIs. Mentor BI developers, analysts, and business users, and oversee enterprise-scale reporting solutions across multiple teams.
Senior Power BI Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Power BI Architect to lead the design, implementation, and
governance of Power BI solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge in data architecture, Azure BI stack integration, and enterprise-scale reporting solutions. This is a leadership role involving architecture ownership, stakeholder engagement,
and technical mentorship across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect Enterprise BI Solutions: Design and implement scalable Power BI architecture across complex enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with data strategy and business.

- Data Architecture Leadership: Lead the design of semantic models, complex data transformations, and optimized DAX calculations
across large data sets and distributed systems.
- Power BI Governance: Define and implement Power BI governance strategy, including workspace management, content
lifecycle, usage monitoring, version control, and security protocols.
- Azure Ecosystem Integration: Architect and optimize BI solutions integrated with Azure services including Azure Synapse, Data Lake,
Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Purview.
- Enterprise Data Strategy: Contribute to enterprise data architecture decisions, including modelling standards, metadata management, data quality, and master data strategies.
- Mentorship & Enablement: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers, analysts, and business users; establish enterprise
standards for data visualization, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Performance & Scalability: Drive tuning and optimization of Power BI models, datasets, and reports for enterprise-scale usage (millions of rows, complex logic,
large user base).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior executives, data owners, and cross-functional teams to define KPIs, align BI outputs
with strategic goals, and translate complex requirements into robust solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Power BI Architecture.
- Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, Composite Models)
- SQL & Data Modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Normalization)
- Power BI Governance and Security best practices
- Stakeholder Management & BI Strategy alignment
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
