The RoleJoin the AspenTech Inmation team and help build the next generation of industrial data and automation platforms. You'll work on the Enterprise Operations Platform, developing high-performance distributed systems that connect industrial devices, move massive amounts of data, and make that data accessible from the edge to the cloud.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll guide a talented team of engineers while actively contributing to architecture, design, and development. Your Impact
  • Technical management of a team of developers and quality engineers

As a technical leader, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers and quality engineers
  • Drive technical decisions, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
  • Help define project scope, estimates, and delivery plans
  • Ensure high-quality software through code reviews, pair programming, and automated testing
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture
  • Take ownership of delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable software
What You'll Need
  • Strong professional experience with modern C++
  • Deep understanding of: o Data structures and algorithms o Concurrent and multithreaded programming o Operating system fundamentals o Software architecture and system design
  • Familiarity with networking, databases, servers, APIs, and security concepts
  • Experience with scripting languages (Lua, Python, or similar) is a plus
  • Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in Agile development environments
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities
  • Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Work on large-scale, real-world industrial systems
