Job Description
Unleash your expertise in product development and optimization by leveraging user research, analyzing metrics, and collaborating across one of the world's most innovative financial organizations.
As a Senior Product Associate on the Card Authorizations team, you will be accountable in driving end-to-end execution for the product's vision and prioritized roadmap agenda. You will partner with product and technology to ensure timely delivery of roadmap items.
You will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact to fuel the modernization journey and creation of innovative experiences for credit card customers.
Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Build strong relationships with Product, Technology & Data partners, setting clear expectations and providing excellent written and verbal communication
  • Understands the payments domain, and competitive landscape to be able to contribute towards initiatives and features to prioritize
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and data insights to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features and contribute to product discovery activities
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Understands Agile methodologies, planning and prioritization, stakeholder management, risk management and operations
  • Manage dependencies, including inside and outside of product area

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 6+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Experience in banking and payments domain with strong understanding of Agile framework, tools and practices, eg: JIRA
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Curious mindset, promoting critical and outside the box thinking with attention to detail.
  • Flexible to change, with an ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Familiarity of Machine learning concepts and algorithms
  • Understanding of data and analytical tools
  • General knowledge of cloud platforms, eg: AWS
  • Experience in mainframe tools and technologies
  • Ability to think critically about data models and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
