Key Responsibilities
- Lead Design Projects: Oversee the discovery process across projects within and between business units, collaborating with product managers and scrum masters to understand key objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- UI/UX Design Delivery: Produce intuitive, user-friendly interfaces across both legacy and modern platforms, delivering comprehensive design systems, wireframes, prototypes, and style guides.
- Drive Release Readiness: Support product releases with assets like guides, videos, and onboarding materials that enhance customer success.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within sprint cycles, collaborating with product managers and development teams to provide design deliverables that meet project requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, sharing expertise and promoting skill growth within the team.
- Customer and Market Focus: Act as the “voice of the user” and advocate for their needs, collaborating closely with product managers and architects to create designs that are technically feasible and client-responsive.
- Inclusive Design and Accessibility: Ensure designs comply with WCAG accessibility standards, creating inclusive experiences for users of all abilities.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Leverage AI and emerging technologies to optimize workflows, delivering faster and smarter design solutions that keep Mitratech on the leading edge.
Required Skills & Experience
- UX Design Experience: 4-6 years in UX design, ideally with enterprise B2B applications. Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
- Design Systems Expertise: Proficient in building and using design systems for scalability and consistency across products.
- User Research & Testing: Skilled in conducting user research, prototyping, wireframing, and usability testing to validate and refine designs.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and familiarity with component libraries to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Accessibility & Compliance: Solid understanding of accessibility principles and experience in testing for accessibility in enterprise applications.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience working across global teams and time zones, able to represent and advocate for the product vision to internal and external stakeholders.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: A growth mindset with a curiosity-driven approach, open to feedback, and focused on continuously improving for customer satisfaction.
