Under BMI, Payment Performance Intelligence Program's Global Product Management team is seeking an accomplished technology-focused Product Manager to support the evolution of its products to include AI intelligence. This person will be part of a team of product managers that oversee key activities including execution of the AI product strategy, management of the roadmap, shaping the product platform architecture and the creation of technical requirements.
This individual will partner closely with other members of the Global Product Management team including data scientists to support development of Gen AI chatbot use cases & agentic services and ensuring product priorities are well-aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Support execution of the product strategy and roadmap for AI and agentic capabilities across Payment Performance Intelligence under the guidance of senior product leaders.
• Develop an understanding of customer needs and help translate insights into product ideas, requirements, and solutions that drive customer value.
• Contribute to balancing longer-term product direction with immediate delivery needs by building knowledge of the technical, competitive, and commercial context of the product.
• Partner with engineering, data science/AI, and platform teams to support high-quality product delivery, including requirements clarity, testing, and readiness.
• Assist with backlog refinement, user story writing, dependency tracking, and release coordination.
• Work with the Customer Experience team to help design intuitive and relevant features that address client needs.
• Help maintain alignment between business priorities and development activities through regular coordination and follow-through.
• Support user research, discovery, and experimentation efforts to validate use cases, usability, and business value.
• Contribute to go-to-market and customer enablement activities through demos, documentation, training support, and query resolution.
• Build effective working relationships across cross-functional and global stakeholder teams.
Qualifications / Desired Experiences
• Understanding of product development and product management principles.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements with guidance from senior team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to support product and feature delivery.
• Exposure to user research, customer feedback analysis, or problem discovery to help improve customer value.
• Strong execution, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Good to have: familiarity with AI concepts, especially exposure to Gen AI chatbot use cases, support, or delivery.
• Payments industry experience is a plus.
