Who BigID seeks:
BigID is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Product Management team, working out of our Chennai offices. In this role, you'll help envision, design, develop, and deliver state-of-the-art products to the market.
What you'll do:
- Lead product activities for the growing platform, from vision to implementation
- Define the product roadmap and work with Engineering to build new solutions
- Communicate with various internal stakeholders to ensure product success
- Collect, prioritize, and create product requirements for new features
- Analyze customer requests, competitor capabilities, and industry trends to define new product capabilities
- Conduct regular customer calls to gather insights and tie them to business plans and product roadmaps
- Work with UX designers to create the best user experience
- Lead sprint planning sessions and set clear goals for development teams
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure they understand the requirements and drive execution
What you'll bring:
- Overall Experience range - 8-10 years
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Product Management roles at a leading B2B company
- Experience managing enterprise-grade products
- Strong technical orientation and understanding
- Analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities
- Accountability, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
- A “team player” outlook with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
- A business-minded approach, incorporating user and business needs into your decisions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
Advantages:
- Background in development
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related experience preferred
- Experience with cloud cybersecurity products, especially Data Governance, Data Security, and Data Privacy products
