Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Identify test scenarios, design, create, and execute manual test cases ensuring full coverage and traceability with requirements.
- Perform functional, system, integration, UAT, and regression testing across web, mobile, and API applications.
- Document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects to ensure proper resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Assist in risk identification, test effort estimation, and test planning.
- Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices across the team.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to validate business needs and ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with 2+ year of experience focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing.
- Experience with test case design, execution, defect reporting, and tracking.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
